The Runners Quest (half marathon) – a personal challenge.

Now in its 11th year (formerly organised by Mbrace Fitness) this annual charity run; in association with Cancer Research UK; has grown in strength and reputation year on year.

Can you run up to 13.1miles (21.097km)?  Would you like to try running further or faster than you’ve ever run before and in doing so help raise money for Cancer Research UK? (Registered charity: 1089464, www.cancerresearchuk.org).

You do not have to be a marathon runner – just an enthusiast with the will to keep going! Everyone is a winner - there are no losers! Join the Ufdance group of runners of all levels, for this ultimate test of endurance.

This year the course has been marked out to an exact half marathon distance and with it being flat this gives you an excellent opportunity to achieve a personal best (PB). A certificate will be presented to all participants and a medal given to those who complete the full 6-lap course.

Remember it doesn’t matter if you don’t complete the full course. Whatever distance you manage to achieve will be a personal triumph. An achievement certificate will be presented to all participants and a medal given to those who complete the full course of six laps.

The bookings for this years’ Runners Quest Half Marathon has been overwhelming, so much so that we have had no choice other than to dramatically increase the number of entrants to 375 instead of the original 150, in the hope of allowing everyone who wants to run to be given the opportunity to do so.

There are around 30 places available which can only be booked via the Runner’s World website.
