In this privacy policy references to “we”, “us”, “UFDance” and “our” are to Unity Fitness & Dance Limited References to “our Website” or “the Website” are to www.ufdance.com.
We organises fitness holidays abroad (the “holiday”), fitness weekends in the UK (the “event”) and race events (the “run”) in a variety of resorts, hotels\ holiday camps and parks.
Booking Terms & Conditions
- When you make your booking you must complete a booking form, accepting on behalf of all your party the terms of these booking conditions and pay deposits and interim payments as outlined in the selling brochure and/or website. You will be sent a receipt and payment schedule on receipt of your booking. All transactions are carried out in £(Stirling).
- Generally, the balance of the price of your holiday (abroad) must be paid 14 weeks before the departure date. If the balance is not paid in time we reserve the right to cancel your holiday, retain your deposit/race entry and apply cancellation charges set out below. In the case of UK based weekend events, the balance must be received 28 days before the event.
Note: The selling brochure/website entry will outline the exact payment conditions.
- If, after our confirmation has been issued, you wish to change to another of our holidays or weekend events, we will do our utmost to make the changes, provided that notification is received in writing at our office from the person who signed the booking form, at least 12 weeks before departure. Any changes levied by the airlines/hotel will be charges and must be accompanied by a payment of £25.00 to cover our administration costs. Any alteration by you within 12 weeks of departure and any such request for an alteration will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and will be subject to the cancellation charges set out below.
- Early Bird or discount offers are based on you booking the full hotel package through UFD and using our ABTA/ATOL approved travel agent.
- You, or any member of your party, may cancel your holiday at any time providing that the cancellation is made by the person signing the booking form and is communicated to us in writing. As this incurs administrative costs, we will retain your deposit.

- The holiday/event price will be confirmed at the time of booking – as the brochure price may have been amended since publication.
- It is unlikely we will have to make any changes to your holiday. However, we reserve the right to in any circumstances to cancel your holiday and all holidays operate subject to a minimum number of participants. However, in no case will we cancel your holiday less than 2 weeks before the final balance. In circumstances where are unable to provide the holiday/event booked we will return to you all monies paid, or offer you an alternative holiday/event of comparable standard.
- All party leaders and party members travelling abroad must have adequate travel insurance.
What information we collect and how
The information we collect via the Website may include.
- Any personal details you knowingly provide us with through forms and our email, such as name, address, telephone number etc.
- In order to effectively process credit or debit card transactions it may be necessary for the bank or card processing agency to verify your personal details for authorisation outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Such information will not be transferred out of the EEA for any other purpose.
- Your preferences and use of email updates, recorded by emails we send you (if you select to receive email updates on products and offers).
- Your IP Address, this is a string of numbers unique to your computer that is recorded by our web server when you request any page or component on the Website. This information is used to monitor your usage of the Website.
- Data recorded by the Website, which allows us to recognise you and your preferred settings, this saves you from re-entering information on return visits to the site. Such data is recorded locally on you computer through the use of cookies. Most browsers can be programmed to reject, or warn you before downloading cookies, information regarding this may be found in your browsers ‘help’ facility.
What we do with your information
Any personal information we collect from this website will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable laws. The details we collect will be used:
- To process your order, to provide after sales service (we may pass your details to another organisation to supply/deliver products or services you have purchased and/or to provide after-sales service);
- In certain cases we may use your email address to send you information on our other products and services. In such a case you will be offered the option to opt in/out before completing your purchase.

Under no circumstances will we hold sensitive payment details such as your card number, expiry date and security code. We may need to pass the information we collect to other companies for administrative purposes. We may use third parties to carry out certain activities, such as processing and sorting data, monitoring how customers use the Website and issuing our e-mails for us. Third parties will not be allowed to use your personal information for their own purposes.
Competitions
A Prize draw will be held once a month starting from 1st November 2006 through to 31st October 2007. Each month one email address will be randomly selected from the UFDance distribution list. The winner will be contacted via email to make the necessary arrangements for a £10 cheque to be awarded.
Prize Draw Rules:
- The prize is not transferable.
- The prize cannot be exchanged in lieu of any other UFDance offer or promotion.
- Only one prize per email address.
- The prize winner must contact UFDance within 28 days of notification in order to claim the prize.
